Pro-Lasix contingent goes on the offensive

About time - exposing cleanhorseracing.org tactics and going on the offensive to educate the public:

Dr. Stephen Selway -

>>>"You need to organize and put these people who are anti-Lasix on the defensive," Selway said. "This isn’t that hard. Other groups are poisoning public opinion. If you do it, I believe The Jockey Club and politicians will run and hide, because the state regulators want to hang on to the power they have.

"All of these groups do not like to be in the public eye on the wrong side of an issue. This nit-picking crap and our own anemic response to it is not helping the horse. I am tired of having to defend this industry to friends, relatives, and acquaintances."

I take it as a positive sign that the pro lasix camp is having to resort to name calling, usually the tactic of people/groups that cannot support their arguments rationally or truthfully.

'She indicated the anti-Salix campaign is portraying many owners and trainers as cheats and abusers.'

i'm not sure that anti-lasix people can all mount that high horse.

Of course she indicated that.

Have you seen or heard anything like that though?

The very name of the Jockey Club's website and campaign "Clean Horse Racing" by implication impugns anyone disagreeing with them as somehow being "dirty." It is an insult to the vast majority of persons involved in the sport who play the game by the rules.
