What a great Breeders Cup that was. Seemed like every race was down to the wire.

she was one of my favorites as well.

You've got that right. It was one great race after another on that card. Hollywood Wildcat's win over Paseana capped one of the best Breeders' Cup races ever.

I'm glad I wasn't at home listening to those canned hoofbeats, very distracting.

She was one of my all time favorites as was the '93 Breeders Cup.

Exceller73 06-27-2012 07:46 AM

My first BC in person, was a great time.

I was 19 and was just going to go general admission. So I am waiting in line and these 3 guys who flew over from Ireland walk up and said they had an extra ticket and gave it to me, was at about the 1/16th pole.

When Arcangues won they all looked at each other in dismay because none had thought about putting money on the euro.

She never really produced much herself, but she was the second dam of Sidney's Candy.

yea like 7, Kent D about killed Jolypha in a 4 horse field but I it would not have mattered the way Flawlessly won....I think Jolypha nipped a horse named Party Cited at the wire for second, and she was the dam of another pretty good horse a few years back (2003), wow, already 9 years ago!

'93 was the first year I really followed racing and remember being so excited to see Dehere run in the BC because I had seen him sweep the 2 year old stakes at Saratoga.
