People always say Vegas is great for 72 hours and becomes sh!t after that.

I have a great time everytime I go. If I didn't hate being away from here so much, I'd be in Vegas all the time.

I've been to Vegas like 30 times... It started getting old once they blew up the Hacienda and put up that abortion Mandalay Bay...it's been downhill ever since.

I've only been to Erie once - years ago when I was in the USMC...My roommate was the son of a judge up there, and was insane too by the way.. So after a 22 hour drive (being 19 years old was phat) we hit up this house party - I start chattin' it up with this smokinin' hottie... sh1t gets real - take her to her place - shenanigans ensue - get lost going back (way before GPS and cellphones).

Big Bro and his drunk-as-fuc1k trailer park boys are waiting for me = drunk ass street fight. I gave better than I got cuz of my USMC killin' machine training but still got dinged up pretty good.

Next day my roomie says we going to play cards up at the hunt camp...I'm like, " whatevah...hit up some sweetassed tail and didn't get my ass too kicked fer it so let's go".... Get there and the same fuc1<ers I fought the last night are at the camp.

Goddamnit.

So big bro comes up to me and says, "you fight real good, and my sis says nothin' happened, you musta just got lost"...and "damn you can take a punch, you'd fit in good up here"

I most certainly would not have "fit in good" and bid a found farewell to that fine city - never to return.

Couldn't agree more. I will not go past the 72 hr threshold and try to keep it to late Friday night to Monday morning. Of course, it's a shorter flight from Houston so that's a bit more feasible.

I know its possible. I have personally witnessed the same number hit 4 times in a row. But could it have been a malfunction with the mechanism that records the number? My wife worked in the casino biz for 15 years and she said it happens alot.

Repeaters are the holy grail of roulette play. That's amazing. The four 20's in 6 spins was a hint of a croupier in a zone.

If I hit powerball i'm setting up a handicapping show a la Ace Rothsteins gig at the Tangiers with you as the star.

I haven't been in a few years but could definitely live in the residential section of The Grand.

The odds reset after each spin though. I watched a drunk let it ride 4x on 18 at the Orleans on a $5 table. Walked with over $200K.

Friday night to Monday morning is the proper way to do Vegas for certain unless there is a hugely time consuming event i.e. tournament play or something.
