Giddy Up Racing, LLC is seeking participants for it's Pick 6 Syndicate for the 2012 Del Mar meet. I know it seems far off, but actually Del Mar Opening Day is just a few weeks away. The Pick 6 group is raising $120,000 and will play a monster Pick 6 ticket each and every day of the 37 days of the Del Mar meet, averaging $3243 wager per day. Here are some of the details.....

The Syndicate:

$120,000.00 will be raised for P6 wagering during the 37 day meet

120 shares at $1,000.00 each per share (min buy 1 share)

$1,000.00 divided by 37 days = $27.03 per day

Average P6 ticket per day $3243.00 - We will play much larger tickets on carry-over days $4000-$6000

Del Mar Stats 2011:

Average Daily Pick 6 Payout $155,590.59

10 Carry-Over's in the 37 Day Meet

Average Payout after a Carry-Over $316,773.00

Largest Pick 6 Payout $1,109,920.00

Let's see, I give them my $1000, they get to bet it how they see fit. So they have all the fun with it with no risk on their part. If they hit they get paid with pre-tax dollars, and you get paid with after tax dollars. Seems fair to me! Where do I sign up!
