Congrats to Mets and their fans

First division title since 1988. While its been over for a while, its always nice to make it official. While I am not sold on their chances this postseason, this team is very talented on so many levels and will be very good for a long time. Its only a matter of time before they win the World Series with the group they have on board right now.

Great season thus far but will be a disappointment with anything less than a trip to the World Series.

I don't think anyone will dispute that beyond the Mets, the NL sucks balls. I'm this close to saying, especially since the Mets got worked in interleague play just like every other NL team, that whoever wins the ALCS will win the World Series. But!

Interleague regular season play, and the postseason are 2 different things- And if Pedro is healthy, the Mets will have the best post-season rotation of any team in the playoffs. Seriously. In games 1-2-3 of any playoff series, if Pedro is healthy, It will be Pedro, Glavine, and El Duque.

These 3 are all old, but they have more playoff experience than god, and they all have pretty damn good playoff records as well. And if one of them can't pitch, you got a 15 game winner in Trachsel as your alternate. Not bad... The guy who might be the best of the 3 come playoff time, could be El Duque. The guy has always been a lil better than a .500 regular season pitcher, BUT HE IS $$$ IN THE PLAYOFFS.

So I'm not saying the Mets are gonna win it all, but not matter who reps. the A.L.- the Mets got a damn good chance to win the World Series. Oh yeah- They have Delgado, Beltran, Wright, and Reyes too lol. They might chip in here and there lol.

Baseball is still going? :)

Congrats to the Mets. Not that I like them, but I can handle defeat graciously.

I liked when the Pirates swept them this weekend and Pedro cried. Classic.

Guess what, the sweep by the Pirates put 50,000 in the fans at shea last night and let them clinch at home. It is baseball, these guys are lazy and only try when they care. Especially now that they don't have their little pills to keep them going every night.
