Carryover pick 5 @ PIM

There is a carryover today at PIM. It is called on their website the "Jackpot Pick 5" which to me raises a red flag about the possibility of unique payout rules (ala GP Rainbow Pick 6). Does anyone know the payout rules on this bet and would they mind posting them?

It's gotta be similar. Looked at a results chart the other day, and saw something like:

"5 OF 5 paid $736.00. Carryover: $104,000"

The figures are as best I can remember, but you see the point. If the 5 of 5 paid - people had it - and yet it still carries over, very likely to be a unique ticket requirement. I think the word "Jackpot" is starting to be standard terminology for a unique hit tied into an exotic wager.

The whole idea of the wager is to gain 1 fan in exchange for losing over 100.

It's brilliantly deceptive. Who doesn't like a jackpot bet with a high takeout? Where do I sign up?

Cosigned. I don't know why any serious horseplayer would ever play one of these 'jackpot' bets.

Once all the lottery-chasing rubes have jacked the pool up.

I'll be betting it tomorrow.

I don't think the concept works with a .50 P5. The probability of getting a unique ticket is too low. I don't mind the idea of the .10 or .25 P6, because it affords an opportunity of a unique ticket every week or so.
