Take Charge Indy set for x-rays
 

J.J. Hysell tweeted that Take Charge Indy is due to be x-rayed. No idea if it's for precaution after he finished so far back or if he showed signs of lameness.

He got about the best Derby trip in the history of the race. Turning for home I knew something was really wrong.

I'm sure the 350 lb impost didn't help.

Bone chip in left front ankle. Sounds like he got hurt some point after the 3/8 pole from what Byrne said. He's due for surgery and 60 days rest with an aim toward a prep race for the Classic.
