A Horse By Any Other Name...Would Win the Derby?

Not every Kentucky Derby winner has a regal name, but people invoke the Derby gods for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the idea that a horse with a real stinker of a moniker shouldn't end up with the roses. Forget what you know about their ability. Who'd be your picks if it were based on name alone? Who has a name worthy of being added to the wall or in the headlines? Are any of them Triple Crown worthy? Who'd have no shot and you'd kill for the chance to rename them to 'make the gods happy' so you could cash a ticket? (Again, ability to get the distance, post position, etc doesn't matter.)

Bold is good. Red is bad. The rest are undecided. A name has to be manly or forceful to qualify. No mommies, daddies, teen singing groups, jewelers or college frats.
