definetly has saddened my day to hear about LITF and Serenas tune dying

Sad day today.

When it rains it pours it seems. Barbaro, LITF, and Liam... those are 2 of our sport's biggest stars gettin hurt or dying. It sucks...

I am with you guys, reading about all these deaths kinda makes me feel bad that we use these animals everyday, and even though they give us 110% horses still get negected like that case in Arkansas that makes me sick, I am not gambling today.

It is all very depressing. Let's not forget that Electrocutionist died of a heart attack a couple of weeks ago, as well. Perhaps all this bad news will be followed by good news: Barbaro is getting better and better; Bernardini proves to be a superhorse; Lava Man proves to be the best gelding since John Henry; the horse slaighter bill is passed by the Senate; and Serena Tune's colt by Vindication wins the Triple Crown in 2008!

The bad thing is that if you ask this board if they would be suprised if Barbaro didn't make it and i bet most of them would of say NO it wouldn't surprise and that is just wrong if you really stop and think about it. I still havn't made a bet today.
