If Stirred Up wins he is at 216,000,right behind Reveron. Doubtful he gets in but possible

I like Stirred Up a lot, but he has not really run a good race yet. Hoping he really runs a big one tomorrow. This race sets up for him, so much speed. When I first looked at this race I thought he was a lock. I took a better look earlier and a horse like City Place scares me a lot. Perfect post, he could sit right off the speeds and blow the race open leaving Stirred Up with a lot to do. Ill be using those 2 in my bets tomorrow.

He's talking about Term Loan, who I wouldn't bet with Monopoly money.

I thought that about him early on, I lost a lot trying to beat him last out. I actually think he just needed time. I think hes going to be OK.

Did you watch Stirred Up's last race? He had everything go his way and plodded to a third place finish. I thought is was horrendous. Looks like a huge underlay here to me even with the race seemingly setting up for a closer.

Unless something changes for me between now and post time, I think Adirondack King will be a better play at a better price.

Like I said, he has really not run a good race yet. Im hoping Baffert has him ready tomorrow. Ill put my faith into Bob and Martin. I do like Term Loan though. I think he can sit 4th right off 3 of the speeds. He should sit right off the 1,2 and 5. December 31 he rated and ran OK. With the Hushion, 2 Bafferts and Pletcher in the race, you might get 10-1 on Rick V and Garcia.

Yeah, because if there's one thing Klaravich is known for, it's being patient and letting their horses develop. The horse has one fast race, in which he got loose on a soft pace. He's in over his head.

His program is changing. You dont need me to tell you, all the sudden 10 different trainers have there horses. Who do you like in the race?

The Lumber Guy is the speed of the speed and will be tough. The others I'd use are Brigand and Adirondack King.

Im not sure The Lumber Guy is the speed of the speed. Hes going to take a ton of pressure. Brigand is at least as fast as him early, and feels like he is a rabit in this spot. Right To Vote has been 1,2 at every call in every race of his career. He has a lot of speed.

If The Lumber Guy sets the kind of pace he did in the Wood, neither of those two can run with him. And I highly doubt a $925k Kaleem Shah purchase is being shipped across the country as a rabbit for what may be an inferior horse.

I think this is a super hot pace. The one horse Im actually way against is The Lumber Guy, unless he rates and finishes strong. Who knows?
As for Brigand rumor is hes staying here for some of the NY bred races.

nope, nor do i pretend to.

Mike 04-20-2012 09:14 PM

The Lumber Guy clearly was very rank on the lead in the Wood, and fought on quite gamely considering. If ever there was a legit excuse to losing a Grade I, and now dropping to much lesser foes...

RockHardTen1985 04-20-2012 09:31 PM

DId any of you guys look at the 8th? I kinda like the 4,5.... Feels like the right spot to take a shot against a short chalk.
