Per a tweet by Jay Privman, he suffered a condylar fracture in his workout this morning.

Kinda sucks I had big big plans for beating him whenever he ran next.

Looks like you got lucky then.

This horse was doomed with Harty.

Who do you send a star 3-year-old to from these choices?

Harty doesn't really deserve to be on that list.

Not sure how warranted Harty's tarnished reputation is. While his stock is generally blue-blooded, most of them seem to be backwards late-developers, comebackers, and A.P. Indy-related plodders. Further confounding his stats is the propensity of Godolphin to quickly pluck up any of his horses that happen to show stakes quality.

It's not like he is butting heads with Bob Baffert in all the West Coast 2yo races anymore. He's got a few top-tier owners that send him their second-tier horses.

I don't know anything about Harty having a reputation or not, but it's been my observation he sucks as a trainer, and overall, doesn't seem too bright of a human being (based on interviews I've seen of him).

And, oh yeah, he seems to break down a bunch of horses.

Since 2000, his win % has averaged around 15% with 200+ starters. That's not too shabby.

Who are some of the horses that have fallen by the wayside?

That's too bad.

He was another one form my top ten list which wasn't even ten... it was maybe five or 6.

Hope we see him again. Junebugred as well.

This sucks... I do hope he's going to be o.k and make it back one day.
