Steve:

Any fig from the 7th at Gulfstream? Pants on Fire physically looked the stand out in the walking ring.

We had to leave early and I missed Gus's selects on the day (had to reserve a table at the finish line for our group).

My highlight of the day (other than the "sunburn") was seeing my man - Hank Goldberg in attendance at Gulfstream Park.....

Pants On Fire 97.. career best, an excellent harbinger 1st back as a 4yo.

Hope you had a great time!

Seeing Hank anytime, anywhere is always a highlight. As affable and great as he is on TV, he's even better in person.

How'd Went the Day Well do in that maiden special weight win?

PS. Is Willyconker on the list of weirdest names or just an honorable mention?

I was wondering, too. I have him in my RTTR fantasy stable: initial report I read says they may send him to the Spiral at Turfway polytrack

i'm thinking willyconker is a play on names/spelling. perhaps supposed to be 'will he conquer'?

or maybe 'will he conk her'!!!

Interesting to see what Italian Rules beyer was after todays win. That was a very nice win. Another California sprinter emerges.

Thanks for letting us know, but that's an awfully low Beyer for Went The Day Well's connections to head off on the Triple Crown Trail with.
