Heightened Security in US Over Iran Threat

ABC had a report from Martha Radditz aboard a destroyer in the Strait of Hormuz...Heating up over there..

With Iran allegedly striking out at Israeli citizens and Jewish targets around the world, Israeli and American security officials in the U.S. are on high alert.

"We expect it and we are ready," one senior Israeli official told ABC News.

Israeli officials told ABC News that the level of personal security on high-ranking Embassy officials as well as other, lower profile officials in the U.S. is at its highest in at least five years, a response to what they called "a coordinated series of attacks." When Israeli officials travel to and from events, ABC News has observed a notable increase in the security presence.

Powers that be are pulling out all stops to get us to engage in another war we cant afford. Flood the media with all kinds of propaganda about coordinated attacks by Iran as long as you put "alleged". I think we are in the longest continued series of war in this countries history and we wonder why we are broke?

also saw an article about a 'confrontation' between an iranian patrol boat and one of our aircraft carriers....it wasn't a confrontation at all. those are int'l waters; all craft can sail there.

while some are beating the war drums for iran, others are all about syria. of course the un failed to approve a peacekeeping force due to vetoes by russia and china, which angered others. however, the arab nations are taking care of it on their own. perhaps russia and china did us a favor? that way, we can point fingers and call them the bad guy, but it frees us from any responsibility.

i know i've been called 'pro-military', i guess because i and some of my family have served, but i don't recall anyone as vocal on here about mistakes made, and the ridiculous size of our armed forces and it's budget. but hey, can't ruin some peoples' fun i suppose.
