This might be the fastest dirt track in history.

8K claimers going a 21.70 first quarter around a turn in two-turn mile race.

12.5K claimer going 21 flat for a quarter and pulling away late.

They ran a half mile in 42 3/5ths in the six furlong Palos Verdes.

Put water on that surface and it makes Turf Paradise's surface look like Calder's.

Yea who would ever thought when discussing a two turn race that the leader got away with a soft half of 46. This is crazy...

Yep. Castaway got away with murder in the MSW race.

I'm sure that will end up being the all-time lowest pace figure I've ever seen for a horse who set a 46 and change pace in a two-turn dirt route.
