MY PAL OF PALS a biting and bucking handful out of his start 12 days ago.. Feeling great and will cut back to a sprint after the NYRA holiday break that ends 12/28. Hope race in the book on New Year's Eve goes!

Awaiting release of AQU overnight with My Pal of Pal (Junior Alvarado) having excellent chance to run in 6f NY-MSW that was in the book and a chance that Ausable Chasm runs in a 6f N2L extra race..

Boys' race goes with 12 as the 4th. PAL draws the #8.

On way back from Aqueduct. Uninspiring end to what has been an endlessly frustrating year. Though he pulled off a his right front shoe, Pal is clearly a turf sprinter as he spun his wheels in the inner. Will take 8 weeks off or so -- consider gelding -- and then get ready for the return of lawn dashes at Belmont.. More later or tomorrow.
