bidenisms?

i've seen bushisms and palinisms...but i'm thinking there should be bidenisms. god knows he says some real doozies. his latest? apparently the taliban is not our enemy. didn't know that. but that's what he told newsweek.

'Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That’s critical. There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy because it threatens U.S. interests.'

The reason there are no Bidenisms is that Lyin' Joe Biden has stolen most of his material, so his gaffes are attributed to others.

I just thought it was because there were too many to list.:D

I do get a chuckle out of him though.:tro:

joe engages in hyperbole:

Vice President Joe Biden said Monday that the raid that killed Osama bin Laden was the most "audacious plan" of the past 500 years. Biden's comments, made at a Democratic fundraiser in Morris Township, NJ, ranked the May 2011 assault that ended the Al-Qaeda chief's life above the D-Day invasion of Normandy in 1944, the surprise landing at Inchon in 1950 that turned the tide of the Korean War or, going back a bit further, George Washington's daring night-time crossing of the Delaware River before the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

i guess he has never learned the meaning of the word 'perspective'. but hey, we can celebrate how much safer we are, while the present administration actually is steadily chipping away at rights. a terrorist is dead-which is great...meanwhile, we have the AG arguing why it's hunky dory to kill u.s. citizens, we have the signing of ndaa, we have new regulations on protests. none of the promised patriot act changes--yep, we are still the land of the free. well-not quite so free.

Hate to say it, but it's more likely that he is "one bullet" away.

The hate against this president is indeed unprecedented in my lifetime.

Were you alive during the assassinations of JFK, Bobby, Martin Luther? The attempts on Ford, Reagan?

Frankly, I wouldn't worrry a bit if Biden became President. I wouldn't even worry if it got to Boehner. Johnson was completely different, but fine, after Kennedy. Ford after Nixon. Sarah Palin? Oh. My. God. Completely different story. They weren't even going to let her do "usual" modern VP stuff -just make her a ceremonial position.

Yep. I was three when JFK was shot, but I remember the funeral messed up my cartoon viewing during the day. I do remember the little kid saluting as the hearse went by though.
There was pletty of hate for MLK, I had a few racist/redneck uncles who hate him as much as is being put on Obama. I live in Indy and we were very lucky that Bobby was in town when MLK was shot, he is the reason we didn't have any rioting here. Bobby was the first pres candidate I was excited about. Hard to see him killed just a few months later.
