It was mentioned on both the coporate owned WGN and NBC this morning and in fact it's so HUGE in Wisconsin 150 people are going!

I love it and especially for government supported political groups like ACORN. Imagine receiving gov funds to influence gov. elections. :zz: Talk about a fixed system. The congressman should also add to the top of the amendment the outlawing of government sponsored entities or GSE anything for that matter. Neither party is completely to blame yet both are at fault. Flat tax for everyone! Guy making 10K pays a grand and a guy making a 100 million pays 10 millon. The gov needs to adjust to the new budget after the divorce and settlement from the people.

Take the money out of the Feds hands and the rats will go away. They don't seek attention just cheese.

So you think that unlimited, unidentified corporate or private funds pouring into our elections is a good thing? That a corporation can contribute tons of money to purchase the election of any politician they want?

Sorry Riot. I guess i missed the Union answer, Getting old , I guess. I just don't see how a Union ( a group of people ) should be treated any different, in this respect, than a Corperation (a group of people ). I would always err on the side of Free Speech, if I was wrong. But I'm not. Love Ya!

We are being bullsh!t to the max by everybody. If the $$ being spent to procure power or to keep it, was spent on the social programs that we are being told we can't live without was actually spent on the social programs we wouldn't be talking about taxes in the !st place.

They shouldn't, IMO. Unions shouldn't be allowed to contribute to political funds, either.

And yes, I have been a member of a union.

I am pro-union in the Private sector,( but I love my Non-Union job, We are getting work from a local Union Co. that I used to work for. How does it get any better than that?), but anti-Union in the public sector. Some work environments need a Union, And from my experience they only work in their own favour, but some places do a whole lot better without them. I have never worked in a Govt job but I have friends that do.
