Strides

I know that there are quite a few here that love to see how a good horse runs. To me, a lot of the story is in the strides.
I look for balance, agility, length and quickness. I also like to see a "quiet head" that works together with the rest of the movement...not bouncing up and down, kind of even, maybe a little low. No wasted action.
Of the current runners, Deep Impact has as close to a perfect stride as I've seen. Bernardini also has a beautiful way of going.
Do any other posters see current runners that have a nice stride?
Your input is appreciated.

I love how Sun King moves. Ducks his head and really powers out through his shoulders.

Invasor, as much as I like him, has terrible action in my opinion. The way he holds his head reminds me of a llama.

along with a quiet head I want a quiet hind end--you know when they go down the backside and you can't see the legs....I want a nearly level top line without wasted up and down action in the hips...
I am biased but I love Henny Hughes' stride...efficient and effective.

what do you think about pine island?? she keeps her head low for sure. deep impact is a heck of a horse, worth staying up til 2 am or so to see him run.

I like the way Bright One moves as well.

Thanks to all that provided insights.
I agree about Pine Island, Danzig. The Gazelle showed a lot.
I'll have to watch Henny Hughes a bit closer.
And Cajun, I'll watch for Bright One too.
Thanks.
