ncaa week 3

Friday
KANSAS +4 at Toledo
Small play.
Kansas should be on the up-swing, and able to move the ball here. You know Toledo will move the ball. I am just taking the fg+ and hoping for a late fg winning this either way.

Saturday
OHIO +16.5 @ Rutgers
Rutgers has been everyone's darling so far, and I also expected them to be much better. However, Ohio convincingly knocked off an over-confident, better than you think N.Ill. team last week, and could well give Rutgers a battle. I think they will keep this within the #.

PITT -2.5 vs.Mich.St.
A shaky play, but I expect Pitt to keep their momentum going for at least another week. I honestly don't know much about the Spartans. I will lay the #, hoping to win by a fg or more.

FLORIDA -3.5 @ Tenn
I think the Vols are more like the team we watched against Air Force than the team that capitalized on a very poor Cal.effort(especially at qb)
in week 1. The Gators should be a serious team, which means they HAVE to win this game, hopefully in a convincing way.

MICHIGAN +5.5 @ Notre Dame
This type of game is always up in the air, and the dog(especially when getting more than a fg) is usually the winning play. I haveen't seen the Wolverines yet, and am not a total believer in the Irish being as good as the polls show. I thought Michigan was a little low on the money line, and prefer taking the points.

MIAMI(F) +4.5 @ Louisville
Another game that could be close. The Cardinal loss of rb Bush was disheartening, especially since I thought it was a very dirty tackle. I am counting on the Cane D and overall talent level to keep this competitive. Could be a low-scoring game.

AUBURN -3.5 vs.LSU
I bought in early at -2.5, and like that much better. If Auburn can move the ball and score, they SHOULD win this game. LSU is no slouch, but probablynot the best team here. It all comes down to the Auburn qb and how he handles the pressure.

FLA.ST. -4.5 vs.Clemson
I think FSU is just a td or so better. They are at home, have already had
big-game experience this season, and their qb should play much better here. They have a quality defense also.

NEBRASKA +18 @ USC
Just kep it close. The Husker offense is much more explosive than the last few years, though not in the same league as the Trojans. The key is staying close early, building confidence. The # is just too large for me to pass on.

Wow I'm on the other side of the coin in a lot of these games.
I like Tennesee a lot.
I also love LSU and like Notre dame.
Two dogs and a fave from this corner.

I would stay away from the Auburn LSU game, too hard of a game to handicap. I actually like Florida alot this weekend, while Tennessee was obviously looking ahead to this game, I think Florida is more talented PLUS I think Tennessee shot their load opening day

Also regarding this game, MSU played Notre Dame next week on National TV (7pm CST ABC game) so they are most definitely going to be thinking about that game.....If it was an older experienced team I wouldn't be saying this but MSU is the king of overlooking teams, IMO
