Mucho Macho Man

Easy trip and all -- but a very nice return effort for a horse who was a very fast 2yo.

That was something alright. Sharp.

:23.1, :46.1 (:23.0), 1:09.4 (:23.3), 1:34.3 (:24.4) :48.2 for second half. Geared down late.

What's next? Hopefully the Discovery.

But probably the Cigar Mile.

RolloTomasi 11-09-2011 01:27 PM

Never mind. The Discovery is next weekend. I don't think the trainer is that crazy.

She seems like a trainer who will run him

Yep, which is cool. So long as the Dubai World Cup isn't involved.

When will he be transferred to Pletcher?

So it was visually impressive, but he pretty much ran the same race he was running in the Spring.

And then there were seven.

Out of 19, MMM becomes the seventh runner out of the 2011 Kentucky Derby to win since running in the race. Shackleford, Brilliant Speed, Pants on Fire, Midnight Interlude, Stay Thirsty and Deby Kitten being the others.
