I've been busy buying my first broodmare and haven't had time to post on any board for a couple of days. It's hard work (and COLD work) getting out to Keeneland in the morning and waiting until one of the mares you like looks like she's going to sell in your price-range. Didn't get one until late in Book 3 (Saturday p.m.). Half-sister to a G1 winner, dam of 3 winners from four foals of racing age. In foal on an early cover.

Oh, I don't mind being called a "Pedagogue", that is, a teacher. I've been a teacher of math and statistics, my mother taught music, her mother taught math and Latin, and her mother taught in a one-room schoolhouse in Indiana just after the Civil War. Teaching is an honorable profession and I'm pleased to accept the title of 'teacher.'

I was raised to consider the source of such remarks and not to lower myself to the level of the speaker (or typist). Although I sometimes fail to conduct myself with perfect dignity (see above), it remains my goal.
