Saratoga 1994

The old Thoroughbred Action show.. from August of 1994. A good number of recognizable names if you watched NY racing back then.. also features Flanders debut.

Oh, how I long for the days of the Electrojet/ Red Scamper Gasper Moschera entry. Pletcher in the winners circle with Flanders was priceless.

The claiming game was a lot fun to follow back then.. Horses like Electrojet and Red Scamper changed hands a bunch of times and ran for years in NY..

He ran pretty poorly in the Sword Dancer in his prior.. that's the only reason I'd think of. He was another one that raced for years... ended up being a Grade I winner that finished his career by breaking down in a claimer..
