Sounds like Lord of the Flies/Animal Farm on Wall Street. I left alone long enough they will sort themselves out into a fancy pyramid too.

They have taken over the park. It's pretty amazing, they have a medical station and a so called kitchen/food area. They continue to make signs on all the empty pizza boxes and cardboard available. People are spread out sleeping all over the place. I haven't seen them harass anyone walking through the park, but the various protests downtown have been a pain in the ass.

I guess we'll see how serious they are about their cause. They are calling for rain throughout the next 4-5 days. It will be interesting if they dig in and are still around on Monday, especially with the fact that downtown (financial district) is usually a ghost town on weekends.

I am impressed at the will of some to protest, such energy to create a PITA. I am also very happy I no longer live in NJ, ferry over and walk up Wall St. to my train uptown.

If they get the unions on board (and they are in the process of doing so) it's going to get reaaaal interesting.
