Collarbone, surgery sidelines Bridgmo..
 

Spoke with Shaun Bridgmohan earlier today after he was diagnosed conclusively with a broken collarbone sustained Saturday at KY Downs in the Cup. Surgery likely with a 6+ weeks recovery time anticipated. He hopes to be riding in time for Breeders' Cup.

I think he is lucky to only have broken a collarbone. The spill down the hill looked pretty damn ugly.

Any updates on Formaggio?

Got up and walked off. Davey Carroll just told me he's very sore but generally unharmed. Will be given about 90 days off.
