Wise Dan gives up to 11 pounds to some and 8 pounds to Noble's Promise. How was weight assigned in this stakes (is it a HCP)?

It should. Unless there's some wacky deal on at Subway. Or the Chinese Buffet.

Interesting weight assignment schedule within the conditions of the event: http://www.casinoinerie.com/racing/i..._Noms_2011.pdf

I was at the Masters last year, and will never forget Informed Decision's final 1/16th of a mile. At no point did I think she would get up and win the race. This year I'll have to settle for the Thursday night card, as I'll be passing through tomorrow.

There is nothing pretty about half the field loaded in a $250k race and you are 13-1, and then 6-1 at the finish...

Ravalo in PID Mile, finished fourth.

Saw something similar in the 2nd there tonight also. The winner was 9/2 going into the gate and then 2-1 coming out.

Tough to try and get new bettors to the game with that kind of crap. Imagine betting a football game. You bet right before it starts and your bookie gives you a line. Then 2 minutes after the game starts your bookie calls you and tells you to cut the line he gave you in half. How quick would you find another bookie?

Football games arent mutual pools. I have and do bet sports daily. I can bet over 210 and under 214 on a NBA total sometimes without taking a lead position. Finding riskless middles is common

There are very few who earn at racing..Sports is a much better way to earn. Poker is even better. Racing is just a million times more fun.. Once BTW went public the air came out of the betting on horses bag.. Now tom dick and harry get all the juice and frankly I couldnt be happier for BTW or racing

dino 09-09-2011 09:51 PM

The 1 in the 7th was 4/5 in the gate and 1/5 after the race.

Drugs must be working as a teller there tonight. . .

Beat the Blues looks well placed. Should roll!.......I think, maybe NOT!

Kasept 09-10-2011 07:30 PM

How about Bill Kaplan and Musical Romance? I just couldn't see her on the Tapeta... Shotgun Gulch ran well considering she spotted 7# to the winner and 6# to the runner-up (Arianna D; 10-1 ML and off as the 3-1 fave).

blackthroatedwind 09-10-2011 07:35 PM

Ariana D was an hour and a half the best. The way she ran she should have been 3:5.
