Baffert trains for Coolmore

noticed he trained a horse for them, this could be the smartest thing they have done with their 2 yr olds since Pletcher cant delver for them

pointman 08-20-2011 07:38 PM

Yeah, its not like that Pletcher guy ever delvers two year old winners. He stinks.

Fulla Sheets 08-20-2011 08:09 PM

Clearly Pletcher cant win any 2yo races for them.

I can't wait for the day when Pletcher and Baffert have every horse in training in this country.

Seattleallstar 08-20-2011 08:33 PM

Seattleallstar 08-20-2011 08:34 PM

Is delver a noun or a verb?

Noun, delver

One who digs, as with a spade

A. I doubt Pletcher wants to dig ditches and, B. I need to add that word to my "words with friends" list.

Indian Charlie 08-21-2011 10:55 PM

You need to delve deeper next time.

That would make me a delver. It has come full circle.

Bob Baffert hasn't won a Derby in nearly 10 years. His best finish in that time span was Pioneerof The Nile's distant second to Mine That Bird in 2009. Adding in the other Classics, he won the 2010 Preakness with Lookin At Lucky. No other placings.

Meanwhile, Todd Pletcher won the 2010 Kentucky Derby and the 2007 Belmont. He also earned placings with Bluegrass Cat (Derby and Belmont), Sunriver (Belmont), Ready's Echo (Belmont), Dunkirk (Belmont), and Stay Thirsty (Belmont).

Certainly, they both know how to get themselves to the Derby. Whether either knows how to get a viable contender to the race in one piece is open for discussion.

Nonsense.

You know what Bob Baffert means to a young horse?

Vision,
Themes!,
Direction,
Dreams!

He has a track record of leadership, stability, and he's a proven winner.

BAFFERT is the GOAT 'yo.
