OK, I'll bite. What's wrong with the poll? Did I omit any options?

I have no idea how it will turn out - which I think is what makes it a good question.

Why No Option for blaming Obama?

No - I'm not unfair. If Obama tries to make it harder for Americans to exercise their second amendment rights, then I will take him to task.

Obama didn't cause the UK riots either, so I'd say he's in the clear on this one.

Actually, did he make any public statement on the riots? Not that he should have - but I can see why he would avoid it, as it would not reflect well on the liberal position - not necessarily his - of wanting more gun control here.

1992 riots in LA: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3be_1237333767

A couple of Korean shop owners were determined to have no looting in their stores.

Any country still bearing a Royal Family, especially a Printh Charlth, should riot.

The gun issue is mute.

No one needs guns to riot.

The British are crazy people and they sent their craziest to Australia.

Ever see Australians riot? That's the enigma.

I think you meant 'moot' (as in the issue is overcome by events). But I get your meaning.

The Australians don't riot because they have a lot of space, good weather, Foster's beer and Elle MacPherson :D

You're right...I missmuted.

I did mean moot.

So now I look stupid thanks to you.

But I'm Welsh and the Welsh gave up rioting a long time ago so that's something.

Wow...unexpected but most behooved.

I thought your love for me had gone south.

joeydb 08-18-2011 09:26 AM

Looks like, as of 10:25 EDT on 8/18, 91.67% of people don't want to be defenseless against a rioting mob.

Or know that your polls are just a troll to promote your view points

How is that so? I did put all possible answers up there, didn't I? The two variables are a) do you favor gun ownership? and b) did the UK riots change your mind?

Taking "a" and "b" together means there are four possible states, and they are all represented in the poll question.

I did note the date and time above, because there may be many people yet to answer and the distribution among those answers may change.

Yeah but everyone knows that plain English is open to "interpretation". Where would we be without all these people to explain what these very difficult words mean.

No shot, the country was far too puritan at the time.
