"You can still smoke"

Sure you can. This is America you've got the right to smoke! Now just pay the f.ucking tax and shut the f.uck up!

Holy crap. Now that's a "sin" tax.

Sin taxes, implemented correctly can improve general health and school districts. Bringing down the obesity rates and lowering the cost of health care. We are loaded with them in Colorado. The least fat state in the USA by a lot.

It's just a complete lack of personal responsibility created by the nanny state.

Eat, smoke, drink what you want and then take no responsibility for the cost of health care and demand you're entitled to affordable care.

It's a working model if people own their choices and consequences. Unfortunately that is lost on most people.

Plus it takes jobs away from the private sector and adds jobs for the government. Insanity at its finest.

I am with you on this. The problem is nobody is prepared for personal responsibility, damn shame but a fact. Everyone is used to being carried when it is time to walk they cannot.

You're all nuts and full of yourselves.

How's this?...if you were never a full time member of the Armed Forces then you have no point of reference.

Stop with the aloof carping already.

Pharisaics abound...soon they will attack in mighty gaggles of frustrated and angry waves.

Clip-Clop 08-16-2011 02:50 PM

So only those who have served full time in the military are prepared for personal responsibility, OK?
I see.

I used an example based on your and others elitist crowing with your condemnatory oratory.

"Fools, thinking they can see tomorrow,
Ignore today the wrongful paths they follow,
Ignore as well the shadows cast
By their dark and crooked past."

I think I am only better than others who think they are better than others.

Hardly elitist here. Just referencing years of observation. Nice quote.

Circular logic perhaps?

Elitist...holier than thou.

That's you.

"Fame from wealth and power departs with wealth and power;
Fame from art and virtue endures the eternal hour"

Try it sometime.

Of course, you would have to look at yourself in honesty and not royalty.

You make pig statements.

You live in your glass sty.

I am too good for this argument. Honestly. If you do not think highly of yourself, nobody else will.

clyde 08-16-2011 03:14 PM

Oink?

That's all I heard.

SOREHOOF 08-19-2011 07:54 PM
