The two Gets cancel each other out.

Another good example of horse racing shooting itself in the foot. A 400k turf race going 10 furlongs at Belmont and a 250k turf race going 9 furlongs at Monmouth the following day.

This one's all on Monmouth. This is the race they scheduled for Big Brown in September 2008 and have since run it in June as a UN prep. Between this and the Colonial Turf Cup next week for 500k the division is spread so thin, hence a Naipaul Chetterpaul entry.

I know. You would think someone would look at a calendar once in awhile when they are mapping out where to place these stakes.

That would require thought...and some common sense too. I mean seriously, Wishful Tomcat?:wf

To add insult to injury, Courageous Cat, entered for the Poker, may scratch to run in a race in California instead.
