Mountaineer doubles 9/8

Had an early day today since this week the new TV shows that i handle have kept me swamped. Also found out that there are more to come because of the tax breaks the're getting and the approval for building a new studio on the the water in Long Island City has been approved. The early double is not easy since the 1st race is filled with horses that have never run,so i need to spread.I'm using 4 horses and am going to throw out the horse that raced at Keenland.I'm using the 3,4,6 and 8.The 3,4 and 6 are firsters and the 8 had 1 race. The 8 and 10 are coming out of the same race and the 8 was beaten 7 while the 10 was beaten 28 lengths. In the 2nd i'm using the 3 and 9.The 1 and 9 could hook and i think the 9 can put away the 1 and the 3 is coming off the turf to a distance she won before that race and could get a good stalking trip.So the early double is 3,4,6,8/3,9.The late double looks like the 9th is between the 1 and 5.In the 10th i'm looking for the 7 to bounce and will use the 4 and 9.The late double is 1,5/4,9.Good luck.

Well after being stubborn in the 1st race and not using the 2 all i have to show is a $2 exacta in the 2nd.A profit is a profit but my pigheadedness cost me.

I'm going to pass on the 4th but the horse that bothers me is the 2 if the 7 is no good anymore.Good luck guys whatever you do.

Sorry for the red board, it's been a long time between winners.
Trifecta 3-6-7-8 box in the 4th, 3 minutes to post.

MinnSkinny 09-08-2006 07:22 PM

Byebyemermaid 09-08-2006 07:25 PM

well i'm betting the 5th and with all the scratches i'm betting the 7.

Well lets go on to the 6th.A very bad field. The 8 had one race back and got beat by 24 lengths while the 5 was in that race beaten 31 lengths(OH WAS SHE IN AGAINST SECRETARIAT).Idon't think the 8 will be to far back in this race and the California lines would beat these. My biggest concern is no works since the last race, but i'm still betting but not big.

Well gentlemen i'm most probably going to bid you goodnight. We're in the plus $274.With that i'm betting two $12 late doubles. The 5 is scratched in the 9th so it's going to be 1/4,9.Good luck.

MinnSkinny 09-08-2006 08:41 PM

Well against all odds I am alive to the late pick 3 on a small ticket with a 16.60 and a 40.60 winner so far. I have the 2-5-6 in race 8, and I could use a good hit after the week I had!

MinnSkinny 09-08-2006 08:48 PM

Prices are: #2 is $635, # 5 is $495, # 6 is $1275. You go now!
