Anybody have any details on what's going on with Arch Arch Arch? I can not tell you how much my heart goes out to his connections. They are some of the good guys in racing and on what should have been one of the highest days of their lives win or lose - their horse gets pulled up past the wire and taken away. If anyone has any details on the horse please post.

Sad to see a promising career cut short but happy to see he'll be ok, wish him a long happy second career in the breeding shed.

too bad he had to be retired. they said they were getting calls about standing him after he won the ark derby. i wonder if they regret cancelling his sale?

Fires thinks that Archarcharch most likely was injured at the start, didn't like the way he looked the first time past the clubhouse. Considering then that he ran a mile and a quarter with the injury, the fact that he didn't do more damage seems remarkable. I'm sad that he won't be coming back, but happy it wasn't worse.

batle of hastings suffered a condylar fracture saturday; surgery was successful. he's also been retired.
