American Idol winner Jordin Sparks is singing the Star Spangled Banner at Kentucky Derby 137. There's a preview of her performance at the bottom of the webpage. She sung it at Super Bowl XLII.

They only reason I found out about it is that after all the Bin Laden news broke, googling "national anthem" brought this up. I wanted to blast some patriotic music. If the Jordin Sparks information is now burned into my brain, I'm taking the rest of you down with me. ;)

I believe it should be posted, I'm just partial to Alan. He is my man crush.

Leave Alan alone, he's was probably too busy looking at the accu weather for Finger Lakes. Oh wait, or is that Richard. I always get those two mixed up.
