The Royal Wedding is...

...

My first instinct is to berate it but you know, in a world that is so damn difficult for most of us, it is actually refreshing....kinda like a fairy tale. Two people in love can't be a bad thing and a chance for millions to share is uplifting.

Hey, I'm all for love... And I wish the two of them well.

Just remember that in this age of "the rich don't pay their fair share" where all that wealth and power for the monarchies came from. That's from an age where the innocent really were raped and pillaged in a real sense, all for the benefit of the king and his chosen associates.

So I'm not big on 21st century royalty.

And with all the hate directed their way, I'm sure they are not thrilled to be placed there by an accident of birth, either.

I'm quite sure William Windsor and Catherine Middleton would rather continue to be living together in a small town in Scotland, as they have for years, rather than be subject to this circus just because they want to marry and he's stuck being the King of England in the future. He didn't choose it. His mother raised him well, to marry for love. Best wishes and much happiness to both of them, trying to live a reasonable normal life within the circus not of their choosing.

My god you know everyone! Being 'stuck' as the King of England? Almost as horrible as winning the lotto. :zz:

I'm sure he just wanted to be a shepherd and look what happened.

Just going by the public comments.

Hey, you want to be King of England, have fun. I'd hate to be stuck in the monarchy. Except for the horses - that's a perk.

For those that are interested in coincidences, there is a horse called "Royal Wedding" scheduled to run on Friday at Fontwell. He'll probably win as well :)

They actually live in Wales, where William is stationed as a Search & rescue helicopter pilot
