Gulch looks much younger than your typical 27 year old horse!

He really moved around well.

The two oldest stallions on the ground were Fortunate Prospect (30) and Clever Allemont (29). Both showed their age but carried themselves well. Allemont is blind in one eye and deaf in one ear. He was literlly out of touch for 20+ years until a woman bought him and noticed his lip tatoo. She donated him to Old Friends.

Fortunate Prospect split two races with Precisionist, and really is in no hurry at all.

Was there on April 13 to 16th.

Saw Maquerty, Awad, SunShine and all the gang. They are so content living there. Ogygen definately looks great, he does not look 28.

Went to the annex to see Klassy Briefcase. I used to check her for the races when I was state vet in NJ.

Boy does all that bring back some cool memories.

thanks for all the great pics:)
