gp continues to amaze

I'll still give the edge to horse racing over US Immigration Dept.

Reminds me of the time i was with Paraneck and we ran a horse twice at Aqueduct as a wrong horse. When we were to tatoo another first timer the next month his papers didnt match. So we sent some strands of his mane to UCDAVIS for DNA and it matched to the horse we ran twice previously who was aptly named "Big Ringer"who won his second start. Changed his name to Skim the Rail who won a couple of cheap races for me at Finger Lakes. Have two win photos framed together one as Big Ringer, other Skim the Rail. Really is the only good memory i have of Paraneck Stable!

The amazing thing was that a 50-1 won the race easily by 7 lengths

The chart from Dec. 27th shows both stablemates made their first start in that race.
Just as odd is that through formulator the pps of the horse who dwelt in his first start show that when he ran back on feb. 24th the pps of yesterday's horse were listed.

If that was the case it doesn't seem to make sense that in that feb. 24th race the horse should have gone off at 33-1 unless it was a deep field of 12k claimers.

It could be that on that day his true pps were shown, the initial start in which he dwelt. In any case he ran 3rd on feb.24th at a big price.
