SB 1594 introduce in Florida - Will FLA follow MA and eliminate Greyhound Racing?

Got an e-mail last night asking for my support in this "Important" legislation. The souce was the shelter that I adopted my retired greyhound from in 2009. Anyway there is now legislation pending in Florida to permit tracks to terminate greyhound racing and keep the slots and card tables, Can horse racing be far behind?

"This is probably the most important email that we have ever sent! Senator Maria Sachs of Florida has introduced SB 1594, legislation that would permit tracks in Florida to end live greyhound racing!"

She is a liberal Democrat in a state where both chambers of the Legislature are solidly Republican, and our governor is robber baron Republican.
