I quote:

'Group 1 winner Hay List, a gifted sprinter who has won 12 of 16 lifetime
races, could not keep pace with Black Caviar. His rider, Glyn
Schofield, thought he was in ideal striking position just off Black
Caviar’s outside flank with about 600 meters remaining, but the winner
accelerated clear effortlessly and was geared down in the final
strides.
'“She just went away from us,” Schofield told The Age. “She was just
way, way too good, and she seemed to be going at about three-quarter
pace. I just don’t know how any horse could beat her.”'

Oh yeah, I understand.

You all need to go to intl to look around when you have time... Arletta and I (and quite a few others) have followed this girl for some time! :)

And a day after being courted by Royal Ascot representative Nick Williams, Moody said he and the mare's owners would not be swayed into taking her overseas, this year at least.

"It would be great to showcase her but let's showcase her here first and hopefully we've got a healthy mature five year old next season," hesaid.

"Maybe we could kick her off in the spring and then maybe go to Hong Kong or Japan, we'll see."

She goes at Flemington in 8 minutes. Austrailia A in front of a packed house.

Arletta 03-11-2011 10:26 PM

How'd she do?

Arletta 03-11-2011 10:27 PM

Never mind.. I see she won :)

Replays already up on Twin Spires.

Arletta 03-11-2011 10:29 PM

Stunning win :tro:

She made it look so easy again. And still broke 1:08!

Pedigree Ann 03-14-2011 04:26 PM

Giving weight all 'round, too. (Females finished 1-2-3 in this open race, you might notice.)

Riot 03-14-2011 04:28 PM

She's wonderful. What an amazing sprinter. She doesn't even look like she's still blowing when she comes back.

Even the hats and flags with the colors, passed out to the crowd, are good for racing.

Great article, thanks. Who is a better horse - in the world - in their division right now?

Wins easily again, now 11-11 in her career. World's top rated horse.
