Yay! The Republican attempt to redefine rape, by eliminating some types of rape from the definition of rape, fails!

The GOP has agreed to withdraw the language they tacked onto a routine renewal of federal language regarding abortion funding, language trying to defund some womens health care in case of rape.

This is great news for all women.

Maybe now the Congressional Republicans could address job formation, and economic recovery?

Maybe Congressional Democrats can also address job information and economic recovery. How long will the Democrats keep on blaming the Republicans? They had the numbers in both Congress and the Senate. Now they only have it in the Senate for the time being. Yet all the Democrats want to do spend spend spend. I love how you always place the blame on the Republicans.

George Bush lost hundreds of thousands of jobs over the years, without doing anything until the last minute. Yeah, the blame for that never goes away.

Well, the Democrats and Obama did stuff on job creation and the economy - all that "spend spend spend" stuff you didn't like :tro: You can refer to most of the economists about the value of what they did (and what Bush did the last months in office) You can look at the economic indicators and see where they are.

The voters can judge it in 2012. Right now most of the loaned bailout funds have been paid back, several auto companies have been brought back from being gone forever and are now thriving. Obama just got another small middle class stimulus by giving the GOP that extension of Bush tax cuts. There's still more to go, indeed, but yeah, the actions of the last two years have done some good.

Since Obama took over from Bush unemployment has gone up by over %1.5. How is Obama helping unemployment out? Why is Obama spending when this country doesnt have it?

Get back to me with what economists have said about what the economy has done over the past 2 years. You know, the rest of the major economic indicators. Get back to me with what major economists have said about "spending" in a recession/recovery. Get back to me with the number of jobs Bush lost - while doing nothing - compared to the job loss figures under Obama.

We are still in a slow moving recovery with much to be done. What's that? Yeah - recovery. Not recession. Not depression. Not where we were 2-3 years ago.

Get back with me when unemployment is at the same level when Obama took over from Bush. Yes I know we are in a reccession. Look on the bvright side at least it isn't a depression. Im not saying Bush was a perfect President. It is amazing how unemployment and our national debt has sky rocketed since Obama took over. Im sure you and the rest of your Democrats will blame the Republicans like you always like too.

It would be nice if you would realize WHAT HAS MADE OUR DEBT SKYROCKET, and it skyrocketed before Obama even declared a run for President.

Let's look at our national debt the day Bush took office (surplus), and the trillions hole we were in the day Bush left office.

And how the unemployment numbers have risen, unabated and unaddressed, over the past many years. They didn't rise the day Obama took office out of nowhere.

The bad NASCAR is out in full force tonight. He has no concept of the downward momentum that was in place. Having said that Obama's economic recovery team is made up of those that ****ed us up in the first place. Like hiring the FOX to guard the hen-house.

I see a major jump in unemployment in 2009. Wasn't that the year Obama took over as President? Yes I also see the slight decline in 2010. A ever so slight decline.

Go find the graph of jobs lost for the past 10 years, and then get back to me. Go find a graph of our GDP for the past 10 years, too.
