If their respective fanbases are any indication, this should be a match made in heaven.

The Fat Man's two favorite horses hook-up.

freddymo 01-26-2011 12:26 PM

If they get a colt the Sheik will have to have him.

Moss keeps his stock at Mill Ridge but ships the Queen to Lanes End only to breed at Darley. You think Farish is a little pissed they didnt take Smart Strike or attempt Indy?

I just noticed the Bernardini and Hook and Ladder are from the same familiy with a nexus at Fairway Fable . Ole Hook is in the Phillipines however .

Hey Richard, could you help me understand your comment. I am positive I am interpreting your comment wrong.

What do you mean it's nice to see Spectacular Bid off his family. I thought the Bid was just an average sire.

Are you saying that you are happy Bernardini has the Bid in his pedigree because that means Zenyatta's chances of having a good offspring from Bernardini are smaller?

Sorry I am just so confused at what you mean because although the Bid is a great horse I think it's bad to have him in your pedigree because he did not produce great offspring.

Can you please explain to me why it's good that Bid is in Bernardini's pedigree. I apologize if this is a dumb question I am a little bit in the dark when it comes to matters of what looks good in pedigrees. I'd like to learn and would greatly appreciate an explanation:)

Bid was a good broodmare sire . It's just nice to see his name in a pedigree as well .

Got you! I didn't know he was a good broodmare sire! This makes me happy to know as he was one of my favorite horses. Thanks for clarifying Richard.
