Gibbs Leaving

What an awful press sec he was. Good riddance.

Coach Pants 01-05-2011 09:17 AM

I wonder how many times he's been sucker punched in his life while being smug and condescending? It has to be at least 10,000 times.

I've seen some bad Press Secs in my life but this guy takes the cake. His arrogance oozes out of every pore.

narcissistic people like Obama need people around like him so not surprising.

The biggest spin master in the Obama administration, Press secretary Robert Gibbs, who obstinately had refused to answer Zero Hedge questions about the economic "recovery" in his daily tweeter sessions, has joined pretty much everybody else in dumping the titanic that is the Obama administration.

It is a horrible job when you have a President who will not answer any questions. At all. Makes life tough. Still glad to see him go. Maybe they can get Dana Perrino. :{>:

I can't think of a worse press secretary, the guy was awful. But who better to represent this bunch than a bumbling dunce.
The funny part is that he is really only leaving so that he can work on and profit from Obama's reelection campaign.

Yet another reason to root for Oregon

It could be that he was an adequate press secretary, but he was given no info with which to actually answer questions.

The lack of answers probably comes from much higher up: the president himself.

The smugness and arrogance -- that's Gibbs' own, but also a prerequisite for working for this administration.

What do you think about the new Chief of Staff?

Gibbs is still going to be around plenty on the campaign trail. Press secretaries hardly last more than a year or two in the White House. Terrible job.

I like him and think he's one of the few honest chicago guys. Or at least as honest as they can be. I also think Rham makes a better mayor than Braun so if this be a trade to get Richard on the Rham wagon so be it. Still applaud the move no matter how hard that is.
