Anthony's Cross has been really working well at Hollywood the past month.
He finished 3rd in the Astrology/To honor and serve maiden race at Saratoga, and ended up breaking his maiden going a mile at Churchill, I believe.

I think he could make some noise in some of the 3-yo stakes out west this winter, especially after watching the non-descript group in the Futurity.

This horse is a total pig. I dont see anything he has done to make anyone thing he will make any noise in anything. GOAT runs 1-2, use the 1 for third.

haha...I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. I think he has some promise, and it still developing, obviously.
I just think we may have already seen the best of Awesome Patriot, and it's nothing special. Baffert not having confidence in him to run in the Hollywood Futurity against that non-descript group has to say something.

yep.. supposed to rain pretty good here late tonight/tomorrow morning.

Scratches left only 3 starters. Awesome Patriot "gutted" out a nice half-length victory. The 7f work that Baff put into him surely helped.
