The last hike I went on was a 7.5 miler in the Smokies. It was a toughie, not long mind you, the grade of 3/4 of it was unbelievable. About halfway up, a copperhead slithered right between me and my wife. When we were almost to the summit, we passed some small kids who were going the opposite way. One of them said, " you aint even halfway, you got a long way to go man." I almost choked that mutherfucI<er.
