Gulfstream revamps betting menu

Frankie's Gulfstream Park will introduce a new wagering menu at its 2011 meet featuring low takeout rates in some of the more popular multi-race and multi-horse exotic wagers. The 2011 meet opens on Jan. 5.

What the hell, a dime P6, that seems like it could be a fun bet

I have this link as my takeout link, anyone have a better more updated one?

interesting twist to the dime pick 6:

Quote:

The jackpot for the 10-cent pick six will be awarded to one ticket only. On days there are multiple winners, 60 percent of the pool will be shared among the winning ticketholders, with 40 percent going back into the jackpot.
Doesn't a Canadian track or some smaller track in the US offer the same?

Gulfstream reaches deal with horsemen for first half of meeting only

Frankie's Gulfstream Park has reached a racing agreement with its horsemen that will expire halfway through the track’s upcoming meet, a representative of the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association said on Thursday.

The unusual agreement will expire on Feb. 28, requiring horsemen and the track to negotiate an additional deal or extension while the meet is running, according to Kent Stirling, the executive director of the horsemen’s association.

Stirling said that Frank Stronach, the chairman of MI Developments, participated in the negotiations and told horsemen that “the model’s broken” without providing specifics on changes the company would be seeking.

Changed their website within the last couple days also, looks ok, but it looks like they did away with their online ticketing

Will these wagering options be available through NYRA Rewards, or at a time when competition between ADW platforms is at a fever pitch, will NYRA Rewards players continue to have to go to OTB or out-of-state vendor ADW platforms to take advantage of these fractional wagering opportunities?
