Politics aside, RIP

Elizabeth Edwards...too many good people die every day of cancer that we never hear about, but having lost both my parents to it this always hits close to home.

Well said. A very good friend of mine was diagnosed with same type of cancer that Elizabeth Edwards died from about 6 weeks ago. She was a good role model for people inflicted with cancer. Yesterday was a very tough day for her spirits and will to beat this awful disease.

I was saddened to hear of her passing. She really had an uphill fight, especially having to do it alone the last couple of years. I hope she now has peace in the afterlife with our Creator.

Could she have married a worse human being? RIP

Thanks for sticking with the politics aside

and the answer is obviously, yes

Hard to believe in 2010 that there are still so many forms of cancer that are so hard to beat

This is a story from a recent SI that was particularly well written about another victim

Nothing political about it. He is a horrible person. Cheating on his dying wife. Lying through his teeth. Fact is, she chose poorly when it came to a husband.

dellinger63 12-08-2010 08:05 AM

She had to be one of the most forgiving humans alive and seemed to be the perfect mother putting her children and even a love child above everything else, including her own life. Too bad she made such a poor choice for a mate. At least now she is in peace.

RIP ELIZABETH RIP

Politics aside? Why can't these people have some restraint? If they listened to you they'll know the economy is going to be fine by August!!!

Princess Doreen 12-08-2010 09:08 AM

She conducted herself with a great deal of class and dignity. Tough enough to living with such a dreadful disease without going through the torment of being married to a POS husband - politics aside.

I lost both parents to cancer - my father to lung cancer when I was 16 and my mother to bone cancer when I was 26.

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-08-2010 09:10 AM

rip cancer is the worst way to go imo she was a classy lady.

Very well said. She would have made a great first lady, that's for certain.

You would buy angel hair spaghetti from a succubus.

Don't stop at used car lots--whatever you do.

randallscott35 12-08-2010 12:20 PM

Angel hair is my favorite.
