11/27: Aqueduct ($33k C/O)

AQUEDUCT

POST-SCRATCHES

5th: MSW, 2yo, 8.5f-T (P6, P3, DD, Super)

Most Likely: #6 Data Link 3-1 WON ($7.00)
Next Best: #3 Foolish Tiger 7-2 3rd
Exotics Use: #10 Associate 7-2 4th
Super Add: #9 Hothersal 10-1 2nd

$1 Exacta (6-9) Paid $37.00
$1 Trifecta (6-9-3) Paid $115.00
$1 Superfecta (6-9-3-10) Paid $360.00

6th: 89th Demoiselle (G2), 2yo-F, 9f (G/S, P3, DD)

Most Likely: #1 (POE) Dixie City 9-5 WON ($5.60)
Next Best: #5 Believe in A.P. 8-5 2nd
Best Value: #3 Full Moon Blues 5-1 4th

7th: 97th Remsen (G2), 2yo, 9f (P4, P3, DD)

This is a quality edition of the Remsen as To Honor and Serve faces off against some excellent prospects. As good as the Mott-Live Oak Bernardini colt has been in his last two, he will have to continue to develop to best Buffum, Mountain Town and Bandbox who all are on a par with him. The most intriguing running of this race in recent memory from every standpoint, and 6-5 is a tough price to embrace on the favorite..

Best Value: #3 Mountain Town 6-1 3rd
Next Best: #5 To Honor and Serve 6-5 WON ($3.20)
Exotics Use: #1 Buffum 2-1 5th; #4 Bandbox 12-1 4th

8th: 115th Gazelle (G1), 3yo-F, 9f (P3, DD, Super)

Most Likely: #8 No Such Word 5-2 WON ($5.80)
Best Value: #3 Quiet Temper 8-1 5th
Next Best: #5 Dubai Dancer 4-1 6th
Super Add: #1 Awesome Maria 7-2 2nd

9th: 22nd Cigar Mile (G1), 3+, 1m (DD, Super)

Quirky and deep version of this great late season event with 4 of 9 attendees exiting generally poor showings in the 3 different Breeders' Cup races in which they participated. Inclination is to avoid the sure-to-be-overbet types and look for those that by-passed Cup and should be ready for a premium effort..

Most Likely: #6 Friend or Foe 8-1 5th
Next Best: #3 Bribon 3-1 4th
Best Value: #8 Half Metal Jacket 12-1 9th
Super Add: #2 Soaring Empire 20-1 6th

10th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 7f (Super)

Most Likely: #4 Merlin Bay 6-1 6th
Best Value: #2 Audies Champ 12-1 9th
Next Best: #5 Winning Token 6-1 4th
Super Add: #10 Muy Guapo 6-1 5th

5: 3-6-10
6: 1-5
7: 1-3-4-5
8: 8
9: 6
10: 2-4-5-10

3x2x4x1x1x4 = 96 x $2 = $192

<$100 P4 Play:

7: 1-3-4-5
8: 3-8
9: 3-6-8
10: 2-4-5-10

Thanks Fred. Friend/Foe was dull. Knew he was a chicken-in-a-pot approaching the turn.

Solis hanging him out the whole way didn't help either.

Nice run at it, Steve.

No, but he lost a ton of ground on the turn and he didn't seem to have any plan or be put in a position to make a real run. Maybe I am wrong, but there was nothing positive about the ride. Didn't see any reason to hang him out like that against a group this tough. At least give the horse a chance to win by putting him in a position to make a legitimate run.

Gus is still alive to three horses in his P4.

I imagine he's more interested in his live P6 ticket.
