New TSA Strip Search Machines

What do you guys think?

If it makes me safer, go ahead...I hate flying anyway.

It was harder to get into the Skydome this weekend then it was to get back into the United States.

I was thoroughly frisked going into the Bears game, including my package being grabbed.

At Pearson International, I left my computer and liquids in my bag, and they did nothing.

Sickening. Roll of the dice every time you step onboard.

No it isn't you loon.

People that are afraid of flying freak me out. My only issue with flying is that planes are not fat guy compliant, and having to have things that are fat guy compliant is kinda my problem, not theirs.

Flying is no different then driving, with a little more aggressive rollar coaster type action when taking off and landing.

You do have a better chance of meeting some ladies at the airport versus the highway.

I guess the chances are true, but you could always get some truck stop lizards ready to party.

I didn't realize when you drive you have to worry about the plane blowing up b/c of a printer cartridge from Yemen is in your back seat. But believe what you'd like.

LOL! Paranoid.

Dude, when its your time, its your time.

I didn't realize that some fool can be hammered and get into his car and hit you head on. It is FAR more likely of you dying in a car accident then you dying in flight in the United States.

It isn't an apples to apples comparison. Sorry....Yes when it is your time it is time...But it doesn't mean we should accept the shitty security that is available currently to us at airports.

Not for anything, but has there been an incident since 9/11? I know there was the shoe bomber where the passangers saved the day, but they have adapted and everyone has to take off their shoes now. Not counting the cargo plane issue (which really falls into another category), I think there has been one other incident since 9/11. Whether you like it or not, it does seem like the security at the airports is getting the job done. Also in general people are more aware what's going on and won't sit if it looks like something is going down.

If everyone had to fly naked there would be no problems. No need for pat-downs, just a quick trip through the metal detector to make sure there's nothing up the old bunger and on through the gate. Cheap easy fix.

I have one of those little folding tools that has a knife, scissors, file and then some on my key ring. I fly a lot and take it off my keys when I travel. One day I forgot to take it off. I didn’t realize it until I got to my seat on the plane and went to grab my reading glasses from my purse. I was mortified when I looked in my purse and realized I just “smuggled” this thing on the plane with me. At first I felt terrible but then I said to myself, hey, I just got through security with this thing. On the way back I packed it in my suitcase. Overall, this was an eye opener regarding the level of security at airports for me.

Yeah but think how much worse it would be when some 400+ lb. person is next to you in coach and his body dunlaps over into your seat! Yuck.

If we're flying naked it's worth it to pay the extra bucks and sit next to Angelina Jolie in first class.

I never said there wouldn't be drawbacks. You might end up in first class next to Michael Moore. Whiskey please!
