Uncle Mo
This is certainly one of the highest rated 2-year-olds in a long time.
War Pass was my top rated from the last decade - and he's at least right there with War Pass. |
Didn't realize

Now the whole world can know the greatness that is Indian Charlie.
How was he as high as 7/5 again? |
Don't forget this about Mo.
He overcame the curse of 1985. |
Fantastic performance!!! Yay! Uncle Mo!!!!!!!!!!! :tro:
|
I don't like Uncle Mo because he does not care about the feelings of the other horses. He should be satisfied with winning margins of no more than a length.

He could obviously give two sh!ts..lol
|
You look at his first three races ..
* Debut at 6f's on dirt at Saratoga. Since Beyer figures have been published ... here are the three fastest Beyers ever earned by a debut winner going 6fs on Saratoga's dirt. Discreet Cat 106 Uncle Mo 102 Birdstone 99 Discreet Cat never raced again at age 2 - but he did torch a good field by a wide margin that included that years Horse of the Year Invasor in a lightening fast pre Kentucky Derby Dubai win that would have earned a Beyer in the 108 to 112 range based on the final times that day. * 2nd start in the Champagne Uncle Mo's final clocking of 1:34.51 represented the fastest Champagne final time since Devil's Bag in '83. He didn't earn a final time figure quite as high as some other winners of previous editions .. but for a 2nd time starter it was a nice performance. The track was nice and quick that day. * 3rd start in the BC Juvie A lopsided win over a promising 2yo in Boys at Tusconova. |
