Mass Cap is cancelled

I am waiting for Suffolk to completely close. Here is the article link from Bloodhorse.

Sounds like a ploy to spur the legislature on if you ask me. This would be akin to Pimlico cancelling the Preakness.

I think you are correct Slot.

It's the one day per year where that place actually puts a good product on the track. I think they're way overplaying their hand here, yet again.

I have to agree. They do not have much weight to throw around. The state could care less about that track. It is too bad too. Boston should be a great city for 2nd tier racing.

Suffolk Downs = Toy Track

Nothing wrong with a toy track. I think you have to appreciate all levels of racing.

That was the most beautiful race track there has ever been ...

... but the neighborhood around it changed ... and the new roads were all built in other directions.

I wonder if the flamingo flock is still there.

You don't know what you're talking about, yet again. The City of Hialeah is growing by leaps and bounds. Businesses are thriving, new construction is at a torrid pace. Stick to what you know. After 1,100 posts, we're still not sure what that might be, but keep trying.
