Hockey is Back!

I know there a few fans out there. Red Wing's Pavel Datysuk got the "Gordie Howe" hat trick (Goal, assist and fighting major) in their opening night win.

Any predictions for a Stanley Cup matchup?

Who needs an excuse...I use life as one!

i wore a caps shirt yesterday to celebrate their opener... and then had to explain to my co-workers what a 'capital' was. sigh

then lost to the thrashers! oh well. hoping for the caps to make up one half of the stanley cup final.

Got a good shot if Ovy stays healthy. Hoping to see them and Pittsburg in the east finals!

Wings v Caps would make for a nice matchup.

I didn't see the game, but I can only imagine with the Ducks goons did to draw Pavel into a fighting major. What is that, like his third career?

i'm not concerned about ovie. the goalies are seemingly still the big issue with this team. varly has another groin injury, an annual event for him. i can see that being an issue for him throughout his career. guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes.
