10/1: Belmont cancels

Relentless weather. Hideous up here too.

NTamm1215 10-01-2010 07:41 AM

Blame and Paddy O' Prado were scheduled to fly in to NY this morning after being re-scheduled. The weather is worse today, so does this mean Steve is heading down to van them up?

With no TV to do, Andy and Jason should volunteer to van them up.

Does anyone (Andy) know how much water the turf has taken and what it looks like?

I'm guessing green.

Not one of your better efforts...

Thanks. J

Not to worry... However it comes up, Dual Citizen is still going to be the one they have to catch late!

Good luck to John, Dave Duggan and the Dual Citizen team in the Pilgrim Sunday!

I'm rusty.

I'll let you know if I hear later.

Will all this rain on the East coast affect Zenyattas chances of shipping to CD for the BC in a few weeks?

Thanks for the proverbial vote of confidence Steve. Still hoping this stuff blows out of here soon.

Bog, defined as "wet spongy ground", will probably best describe tomorrow's turf course.

According to CSC1985, that turf should be labeled firm.

It is bone dry here.

They're calling for snow in the Rockies, though. That might be a problem. Last time I traveled through snow in the Rockies in Oregon Trail, my axle broke, lost two oxen, and my daughter died of dysentery.

Indian Charlie 10-01-2010 11:30 AM

She's definitely not coming out then.

And what does it being dry in KY have anything to do with rain on the east coast, as it pertains to Z shipping to KY??????

I don't get it.

Will the non-stakes turf races be run on dirt? Thanks!
